Over the past couple of weeks I've been having a blast with my ukulele. I went to a couple John Lennon related events for his birthday and attended a ukulele meetup in Oak Park where they do a lot of Beatles songs. One of the events was called Working Class ukulele and was a one man show of a guy named Steve performing a solo act with his ukulele. I also attended a get together at the Old Town School where everyone sang John Lennon songs and brought their guitar, banjo or ukes. I'm just a beginner but it is such a fun instrument to play.
